So we are a bunch of pitiful souls around here...all of us except Davis that is. The fun began Saturday when Jason came down with the flu. Thankful the Dr called him in some Tamiflu first thing Monday morning and he is on the road to recovery. I started feeling bad yesterday morning with just a cough the Dr called me in some medicine, but by 5:00 I was running fever and had the aches and pains. This morning we woke up with a sick little Greyson...fever, horrible cough, and not wanting to get out of bed. Jason took him to the Dr this afternoon, so we have meds in him and hopefully he is on the road to recovery as well. Please pray with us that little Davis will bypass all of this and remain healthy!! We have never experienced the whole family being sick at one time; no fun.

The Bounce
Today our playgroup met at The Bounce. The Bounce is a new place in town with all the fun bouncy things for kids. They had a ball pit and about 6-8 bouncy's for the kids to play on. Greyson had a great time playing with his buddy Jake and could not stop giggling! I love watching him laugh and have so much fun!! Enjoy the pics...

New Year's-a Little Late...
O.K. I know we are almost 2 weeks into January, but I never got a chance to write about our New Year's Eve. This was the 5th year that we spent New Year's Eve with our dear friends the Moffitts at their Murder Mystery NYE party that they host. Each year there is a new game with a new theme. We have gone back to the 50's, the 20's, and several others. This year it was a pirate theme which was a lot of fun. We dress up, have a great time playing the game while we visit with our dear friends and of course eat!! Here are some fun pics from the evening...

Happy 6 Months
Our sweet little Davis is 6 months old today! I look at her in amazement because it seems like we were just bringing her home from the hospital. She has lots of "tricks" up her sleeve these days...she is trying to sit on her own, eating food (cereal, banana, & avocado), she is rolling all over the floor, and she has become a thumb sucker. She has quite the personality; I think she is going to be our spunky little firecracker as she is already feisty!! She is such as happy girl as she smiles and "talks" to us all the time. She enjoys watching Greyson entertain her with his funny faces. We love you

A Wonderful Christmas
We have had the best time celebrating Christmas over the past 2 weeks! Our Christmas celebration started the Friday before Christmas when we made the 8 hour trip to Tulsa to celebrate with Jason's family. Everyone was a trooper for the car ride thankfully!! We enjoyed making a gingerbread house with Greyson, playing in the snow, a Lebanese dinner, and time with Jason's sweet family. It was so fun to see the excitement on Greyson's face as he opened his gifts Christmas morning. We know that next year we will be able to experience that fun with Davis too! On the 26th we left Tulsa and headed to Corsicana to celebrate with my dad, brother, grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins. It had been a while since we have all been together, so it was fun spending time together and of course enjoying meme's wonderful food! We finished celebrating Christmas this past weekend with my mom and step-dad. We always have fun with each other just relaxing and visiting. As a surprise for me my mom pulled out my "first Christmas" dress so we could take pictures of Davis in it. Since our birthdays are only a few days apart it fit her perfectly! Greyson was ecstatic about his tricycle that Gran and Grandpa Jerry got him...I know it will provide hours of entertainment for him! Now we are just trying to get back to "normal" life. I am always sad for the Christmas season to be over but the memories we make carry me through until the next year!!

5 Months
It's that time of year that I am trying to cram too many things into a day in order to get ready for Christmas. Because we have been so busy, I failed to update you all on our big 5 month old little girl...
Davis was 5 months old last Tuesday and again, I just can't believe where the time has gone. I took her for her check-up and she was 15.6lbs and 26 1/4 in. The Dr was surprised that I had not started her on cereal, etc. yet but I told him I just have not been ready to do so. She is still content with the breast milk she is getting, so I have not been in any hurry to add more to her diet. After things settle down after Christmas we'll start on cereal, etc. I know I have said it so many times before, but Davis is such a sweet girl. She has so much personality which has been fun to watch develop. She smiles all the time which can bring a smile to your face even if you are in a grumpy mood. She has become very content to play on her activity mat, sit in her bouncy seat, and watch Greyson run all over the house! How lucky are we to have these 2 precious kids!!
