Research Park

We have a great park here on campus that I love but sometimes forget about. Jason and I had our engagement pictures taken there and we have taken family portraits there. This visit was just for fun though, just a fun Sunday afternoon together as a family. We fed the ducks, picked up sticks, watched the turtles in the water and had plenty of room to run.

Bluebonnets

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids out to see the Bluebonnets and take their yearly picture in the flowers. We found a great field for the kids to run and play in while we snapped a "few" pictures. I think Jason took over 100, but these are some of my favorites.

A Belated Happy Easter

Happy Easter a little late! We had a great long weekend in Tulsa visiting Jason's mom for Easter. We did a lot of fun things while we were there, here is a short and condensed version of our time there.

Friday we took the kids to the Tulsa Zoo. The kids loved seeing all the animals, riding the carousel, and riding the train. They were worn out afterwards and slept for over an hour in the car. Friday night Jason and I enjoyed catching up with some old friends over dinner at a delicious restaurant "Sonoma". After dinner we walked across the street to Kokoa to indulge in some chocolate dessert. It was a nice relaxing evening without kids!









Saturday our friends the Dysons came over with their little boy Braeden and we had an egg hunt for the kids. That evening we dyed eggs with the kids, it was fun but only lasted about 10 minutes :)






Sunday we went to church despite the rain and 45degree weather outside. We enjoyed a quiet day at home with Sito and Aunt Lindsey and had a yummy dinner that night.

Easter Eggstavaganza

Our church hosted the "Easter Eggstravaganza" tonight. It was a fun-filled night with bouncy houses, face painting, crafts, pizza, an egg hunt and the true Easter story. The kids had a wonderful time and got a little practice in for next Sundays egg hunt.
