Tulsa

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Tulsa. Since it is a slower time of year for Jason we were able to enjoy a longer visit than we normally do. We left last Wednesday night and returned Monday night. With the extra time, we were able to enjoy our time with family and enjoy some time with old friends as well!! Kay loved having us there, and she spoiled us (especially Greyson & Davis) like she always does. Friday night Jason, Kay, Aunt Lindsey, and I enjoyed an "adult only" evening out to celebrate J's bday early. Saturday morning we got together with some of Jason's dear friends from high school to meet new babies that had come along. Saturday night we all went out to dinner and Jason and I got to enjoy another "adult only" night (we didn't know what to do with ourselves)! We had a great dinner...great friends, good food & fun stories. We headed to KoKoa' for dessert-everything on the menu had something to do with chocolate-DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!! We did a little shopping, some more visiting, and just enjoying the extended time together as a family.

Thomas the Train

Gran & Grandpa Jerry (my mom and step-dad) came to visit yesterday. Grandpa Jerry found a Thomas the Train set for Greyson. They had a great time setting it up and playing with it-Greyson loves it!! This will provide hours of entertainment for Greyson-thanks Grandpa Jerry!!

Happy Valentine's Day

We hope you had a great Valentine's Day! It was an exciting day around our house with the Valentine party Greyson had at MDO, cards and stuffed animals the kids got from Grandparents and Papa's (my dad) birthday also is on Valentine's. I took Davis' picture in the same "Baby's 1st Valentine's Day" as I did with Greyson (that's who the little bald baby is).

7 months & a little catch up

The time just keeps flying by...Davis is 7 months old today!! Her little personality is developing more and more each day. We feel so blessed because she is such a happy and content little girl. She is cutting 2 more teeth and is enjoying all the new foods we have introduced to her. She is trying to crawl and I think it will be any day before she gets the hang of it. Greyson loves his little sister and is so sweet and gentle with her. We have had some beautiful weather the past week so she is enjoing the swing outside. Here are some pics of our happy girl...

We are finally back to "normal life" after recovering from the flu. Greyson has enjoyed the beautuful weather since he missed almost a week of playing outside. He got to play with his buddies Sam & Murphy over the weekend when we all got together for dinner Saturday night. It is so fun watching them play with each other. Greyson also worked on a little Valentine's project for his Grandma's and Papa this weekend with Daddy-we think they'll love it!!

Jason and I got to enjoy a date night last night for the first time in weeks!! My sweet husband went and saw '27 Dresses' with me; what a guy!! I love spending time alone with the greatest man in the world!!

A Crawler??

We might have a crawler amongst us soon? Even though Davis has been under the weather recovering from the flu she has managed to pull herself up on her knees the past few days and rock back and forth. I don't know if I am ready for 2 that are mobile :)

A Slow, Sick Superbowl Sunday

So, we had plans to have a little Superbowl shindig at our house this evening but that won't be happening. I prayed for a miracle all week, but the inevitable happened Friday morning when Davis woke up with fever, cough, etc. she too had gotten the flu. We thought Greyson was doing better yesterday, but he has spent most of the day in bed today. Jason is feeling better and I think I am on the road to recovery as well. It has been a nice relaxing day under the covers sleeping this horrible virus away. We hope all of you had fun celebrating Superbowl this evening!!
